Four students of Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha won two gold and two silver medals in the recently conducted University level project competition ‘AVISHKAR 2022’ held at Arvind Gavali College of Engineering, Satara. AVISHKAR 2022 is an annual research competition that aims to inculcate the culture of innovation amongst the students from various streams. This competition is initiated by the Governor of Maharashtra State and DBATU has conducted it in three rounds at institute level, zonal level and university level.
Students of BIT, Wardha registered 4 wins in the university level competition including two Gold and two Silver medals. Radhika Tiwari from Civil Engineering branch of BIT won the Gold in Commerce, Management & Law segment for suggesting an effective way for disposal of biomedical waste and generating revenue from the same. Electrical Engineering student, Mansi Tikhile won gold in Medicine and Pharmacy segment for designing a smart watch that can predict the health condition of a person evaluating various parameters and provide the diet chart to recover easily. Vishnu Mate and Suyash Patalbansi of Computer Engineering won one Silver each in the segments of Commerce, Management & Law and Humanities, Languages & Fine Arts respectively. Vishnu designed a mobile application to plan hassle-free long distance EV Journeys while Suyash’s project was about tracking the students’ achievements of learning outcomes in foundational years. These students then represented Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University at State level competition organized at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune during 12-15 January 2023.
