BIT Students shines at KPIT Sparkle project competition

KPIT Sparkle is an annual innovation contest organized by KPIT Technologies, a global technology company that specializes in product engineering and IT consulting. The contest invites engineering students from around the world to develop innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. KPIT Sparkle provides a platform for the next generation of engineering talent to showcase their innovative ideas, network with industry experts, and gain recognition for their work. The contest focuses on four themes: Smart Transportation, CleanTech, Intelligent Manufacturing & Life Sciences, and Energy & Resources. KPIT Sparkle has been running since 2013 and has attracted thousands of participants from over 600 colleges and universities across the globe.
In the recent version of KPIT Sparkle (2023), three groups, total of – students participated from Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha. Two groups from Electrical engineering department and one group from Mechanical engineering department participated in the recent version of the competition. The projects focus on recent advancement of electric vehicle charging sector. The new technique developed by the students facilitates wireless charging of electric vehicles. The other project from department of electrical engineering focuses on the prevention of accidents due to the head lights from the vehicles. The project developed by team mechanical engineering focuses on the tyre pressure monitoring system for vehicles. The pressure monitoring system prevents incidents efficiently thus proving its efficacy in the present vehicular system. These projects are designed and tested successfully in BIT. Wardha campus.
